I have decided to cave on one specific blog trend.
The birthday post trend.
I don't know if it'll last forever, butttt
this week was "Alicia" Love Prince's birthday.
She is officially 21
and officially old. So I think it deserves a cheesy "10 things I love about YOU" post.
=] for her birthday we got to go dancing in la
and we got to stay up till 4 playing quelf.(she makes a good angry gnome) and the next day we got to see rachel getting married and eat sushi. woooooo. it was wonderful.
First off, I met Alishuh in my first semester at Byu - Hawaii and for some reason decided to become my insta-friend.
I mean...the first words I ever heard come out of her canadian mouth were "Do you watch So You Think You Can Dance?"
How was she to know that I was and have been completely obsessed since season 1?
Insta-friends. Bam.



So. I'm going to limit myself on my reasons because I'm pretty sure I could write a novel discussing our entire friendship.
I'll give you 10 reasons why I love her and why you should also.

Reason 10:
She's from Canada. & not only is she from Canada, but she's very proud of that fact. She will hold strong to her accent. (which could eventually rub off on you...so catch yourself when you start saying "so-ree" and "uhboat" it's because of HER.) she'll also buy you sweet canadian things like Smarties and scarves with maple leaves, but beware of toques. Anything but toques.


Reason 9:
She knows more about Disney then anyone I've ever met...ever.
That's wonderful.

Reason 8:
She's impulsive. Which leads to awesome things like chameleons that run away (rip Charlie Trevor), Dyed hair, Post-it walls, bb gun welts on her stomach, overnight trips to honlulu with hippies, more lizards that are let go to "roam with the buffalo" in 45 degree weather(no, I don't know what this is in celsius) and lots of other things...that we just don't need to get into.

Reason 7:
People thought we were gay together.
I mean...if this blog doesn't reaffirm those fears I don't know what will.
but I think it's wonderful that we could have a friendship that's good enough to make people think we're the next tegan and sara. & she was my date to fall ball last year. =] (p.s. we're not gay)

Reason 6:
She's the most talented artist I've ever watched in action. Seeing the extra credit drawings fly out last year in what felt like 30 seconds or less was life changing. I didn't know that it was humanly possible to get things out like that. It's amazing.

Reason 5:
She's ridiculously generous. And due to her generosity and her family's I've got to go on the most fabulous vacations to Maui and Disneyland.

Reason 4:
Without getting super overly personal- She has been the most supportive person I've ever had in my life. She's always been there for anything and everything and she's always got good advice and cuddle power.
This one could go on forever...I'll leave it at that.

Reason 3:
She calls me cabbage. =]

Reason 2:
She likes Donald Trump...and I wouldn't be surprised if one day she ruled the world.

Yes.

Reason 1:
Life is better now that she's around.
She's my best friend.
