it was so easy, & the words so sweet.

To celebrate 4 months (mostly) well spent
I present to you
Chinmen:

For Landon, I was going for a Shel Silverstein inspired simple chinman.
I like the way it turned out.

Landon doesn't think he can draw at ALL. I firmly disagree.
I think he did a great job with the design and execution of my chinman.
I like that because he has beardy scruff it looks like it has hair.

CHINMONSTER!!!!

The end.

Special updates!

Last week was Landon and my 1 year anniversary.
I thought about a bunch of different ways I could write about him or us or something that would probably just induce vomiting in anyone that read it...so I want this to be simple.

He took me to see Jaws at the Enzian Theater which was SOOOOOO cool. I have loved that movie since I was a very young child so it was really epic seeing it on the big screen with our pitcher of root beer. Very romantic.
people always tell us we act like we're from the 1950's, & sometimes I agree with them because of the nights like this.
He bought me a salad and surprised me with cookies.
He gave me the comfy seat and sat on the metal chair.
He holds my hand wherever we are.
He gives me the last bite of everything.
& he smiles the whole time.

simply put. He's my best friend.
I love you.
congrats on the internship.

updates!!

!

so much going on lately...
Landon finished his first degree program and is going in for an interview for a dub stage internship today. This is very very exciting and I am excited to see if he gets in or not. If he gets it he will have his first IMDB credit by the end of the summer! =] woo hoo for him. Keep your fingers crossed.
Landon's brother, Ryan, came out a couple weeks ago to hang out here in Florida while he defended his thesis for his online program from Full Sail. He got his masters and graduated the same day Landon did so their parents came out to celebrate that weekend.
It was SO much fun. We went on a tour of the school with Hunter Menning who is incredibly interesting.
We ate tons of really good food and enjoyed each others company. It was awesome having them out here.

I'm leaving for Utah in 3 days (still in denial).
My cousin, Tommy, is coming home from his mission in Russia. It will be really fun hanging out with him again. and tons of other people I haven't seen in years. crazy.
Then after a week in Utah I'm going to California for the rest of the summer.
It's going to be weird existing with out Landon around to laugh with, but I'm still happy about it.
I get to play with my babies.
Life will be good.

okay pictures.

Hooray for Hemme.

Hello!
Here's some exciting news!

As some people know my brother, Timmy, is living out here for a few months working with Christy Hemme (dancer, model, TNA knockout and now super bad-a singer) as they are starting to get really serious with her band HEMME.
It's made up of Christy (you can find her pretty much anywhere...Check this out)
Eric "Erock" Friedman (ex Submersed, Alter BridgeDaughters of Mara & some Jeramiah Red) he's on guitar and he is genius. It's in his bones. I've never seen anyone with a brain like his.
Garrett Whitlock (ex Submersed) who KILLS on drums.
and Timbone Miller (j-red) slappin da bass.
So I started hanging out with them while Tim and Erock were staying at the Tremonti's house & it's been way fun watching while they write and create the demos for the new album.

&  Landon is now in his last 2 months of class where they have Session Recording & a Producers Showcase.
What they are expected to do is find an artist, bring them into the studio to record a single, mix the song, put together a whooole bunch of other stuff (copyrights blahblahblah) and in a presentation they're supposed to "sell" the artist. & a bunch of industry professionals judge all the groups to pick who rocks (& sells) the hardest. (his group is gonna win.)

It all came together too well. We got HEMME in the studio this week to record the song "Deepen Me" which is soundin SO good.  and they're going to start mixing tomorrow.
I was asked to come in and take pictures of the studio sessions. (They'll be ready tomorrow after I get them band approved.)

AND here's my exciting news.
Christy needed a promo shot of the whole band for a magazine and other sites and she asked me to do it!
It was way fun, totally last minute and turned out completely awesome.
We went to the lakehouse where she lives and looked for some fun spots to take them. It was raining so it was hard to get outside, but we did for a bit. It was really pretty on the dock with everything so cloudy and wet.
We picked our favourites and she sent them off to her publicist.
You can now find them herehere, here, here,  here and here. ok I'm done linking.
The whole shoot will be on my website tomorrow.

Needless to say her publicist got them around.
I don't know what magazine it's going into yet (they picked the black and white one) which is sweet. Tim is looking real retro in it.
It reminded us of an old school record cover.

So now I'm asking you to be a pal.
View them on any of the sites (you can rate them on the first link) and comment away.  Tell your friends, your pet, maybe your Grandma...(my Grandma liked them.) Add HEMME on myspace
The music they're writing now is coming out so good. Christy has been growing so much as an artist. It's so rad to see. It really surprised me how honest and sincere she is about the entire project. It's much more important to her than just another outlet of entertainment.  (which is what you would assume coming from a WWE wrestler turned singer)
So. Assume nothing with Christy Hemme.
She's rad, the music is rad, the pictures are rad, life is rad. Rad goes with rad.

Ok. I'm done.

I have so much to say

I have way too much to say.
My brain may explode from every update I have going on within me.
I cannot write right now.

So I'll leave you with this.
